.
At a Flea Market today, I picked up something that I thought has some possibilities. For $2.00, I bought the "guts" of a Watch, including its face. The unit is compact and NOT delicate at all. It is from a watch that needs to move around to get it ticking (ie.: No manual winding or battery needed). It ticks and has a part that you can see move inside. It is just missing the 2 hands on the face, but the second hand is there. Anyway, I put it next to my Half Dollar and Eureka... It is the same size!!!! Interesting Spellbound Surprize??? Here is a picture of it next to (and under) a Walking Liberty Half Dollar: http://i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu293......Face.jpg I guess anyone can take a part an old watch and use it for a Spellbound Move or something. What ideas do you have?? Patter?? Routine?? .
You know how to make God laugh?........... Tell him your plans!!!

That style watch is common in high end watches and is called "automatic Wind" watch.
It is also the one watch type that you should NOT use with a PK ring. (unless, of cource, you are willing to buy the spectator a new watch.) Bob |

You are right Bob. I have a couple of very expensive self winding watches and I make sure I'm not wearing them when I play with PK effects.

I played with an effect where a coin becomes a watch face, and the coin appears in the watch. It used a watch with the watch face being a half dollar, that was sold by Hammaker Schlemmer, but you can find them on a search on the internet. As JT mentions, Scotty York does a great signed coin in the watch.
