Not in any Frank Garcia books I've got, where did you hear about it?

I've got 3 Frank Garcia books. No Buffalo shuffle inside.

As a suggestion, dylan:
Send Mr. George Schindler an e-mail, and ask him if it's in print? (If anyone knows, he does!) showbiz10@aol.com (He owns Show-Biz Services) Good luck! Warmest regards, Sixten |

Dylan, is it connected to a trick? I have all his books and spent time with him
and not sure of the Buffalo shuffle. |

Yes, I have his books and videos and don't recognise the reference. Can you describe what it looks like?

Sorry guys, Lee Asher told me it was Garcia's Buffalo Shuffle.
It's in this video, like a choppy table shuffle..., done with a side on face up deck... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_htHzYWtAg. I emailed Lee and asked him. Cheers guys, your help's much appreciated! |

Hi again, dylan:
Could you correct the You Tube link? (Comes up malformed) (I have an old vhs tape showing Mr. Garcia doing a nice shuffle, he just said it's something that he invented. No name given. Card stab effect. Just want to see if it's one and the same.) Thanks! Sixten |

If you're talking about the move done around the 54 second mark, I know that as the "affas-gaffas" shuffle. It was part of his Triumph handling aka "New York opener" described in one of the exclusive books-don't recall which.

New York Opener is in Exclusive Card Secrets, but I believe that Denis is correct in identifying this as The Maximus Control, used to retain the top card.

Frank also does it (albeit briefly) on his Stars of Magic dvd, its not that hard to work out from watching him doing it and knowing hes retaining the top card.
