Does anyone have a good source for the older English Pennies, you know the ones, the ones that are copper (I guess) and very close, if not exactly the size of american Halves.
Thanks |

Try http://www.ebay.com or your closest coin shop. I found some king george pennies and the standard ones with the sitting lady. Good luck

Most coin shops I've been in have buckets of them and I've paid anywhere from .5-.25 a piece!

I bought mine the same way Mick did...an antique shop near my school had a coin section with a bucket of coins. They were 4 for a dollar and I picked up a dollar's worth of English pennies and a dollar's worth of Mexican centavos.
Try ebay, coin shops, and antique shops...if that fails, as a last resort, the online magic shops sell them as well (but not for a quarter each) -Vinny |

I spent $12 on ebay and got 20. If the other guys got them at .5 to .25 per coin at their local shop, that's a way better deal. Either way, they're easy to find and very cheap.
