Yes.
After much soul searching about a signature, I decided not to have one.

No more gaffs. They still will make jumbo and mini decks. Get your extra NFW's and stuff because better safe than sorry. Somethings going on but........? |

Sometime last year it was reported that they would no longer make Jumbo Decks, there were none to be found. Some were being sold here on the Café at very high prices.
I just bought 2 Jumbo decks this week, and I see them listed on web sites again. This makes no sense. We have been told No more gaffs, no more jumbo decks, no more Squeezers, no more Steamboats, no more Tally Ho's. (And a new box design that few people like) And lots of conflicting information, much of it from US playing card company itself. Sad way to do business.

They will PRINT gaffed cards in future too (but no modifications of/on the back design and the Ace of Spades) if someone orders enough quantity and is willing to pay for it and to store them all. Besides that we now have also the Phoenix deck... Jan

The actual design of the bike cards, both front and back IS NOT copywrighted and is under public domain. It is the ace of Spades and Jokers which carry the trademark designs. Hence, NFW can still be produced as can anything you would use in Anniversary Waltz/Chicago Opener, etc... They say things like the Boris Wild Marked deck and Twilight angels won't be produced anymore, but sometimes I wonder....

Just came back from The Sessions where I talked with Joshua Jay aboutthis. The reallyy (and even for me surprising) news:
USPC refused to print a card with a Regular back and a misindexed face (like a Skinner Monte gaff). That is it. No more gaffs on Bicycles?! Joshua Jay will move over to Phoenix, perhaps you also give it a try and ask your locl dealers for them.

I think it's a matter of someone placing a large order of them, cash up front.

Marty Grams dvd "The Art of Card Splitting" is a fantastic resource for making your own gaffs. Marty walks you through the process of creating the gaffs. From double facers to double backers, split cards, acrobatic cards and on and on.
