As some of you may know - or not - I'm off to Zambia soon. It's an incredible story that started with a gig in Scotland, resulted in me cycling from London to Paris, then involved Uri Geller, Kenneth Kaunda and Uri giving us his jaguar.
Here's the start of the story: http://site.uri-geller.com/kenneth_kaunda_ and here's a bit about the jaguar. If you click on the pic it will take you to the ebay page AND a cracking video with Uri and KK: http://site.uri-geller.com/uri_gellers_jaguar (WELL worth watching!) Good luck in the bidding, guys! The story continues! Drew |

Here is a posting with a really positive, upbeat message, with people doing the most amazing, humane things. How come SOMEBODY always has to snipe from the sidelines? I just don't get it. Just demonstrates that EVERYBODY has a fatal flaw, I suppose.

Such wit.
I've not passed comment on the cause, nor on your efforts, or Uri's, in helping with it. From what I've read, the cause seems very deserving. I hope you can raise lots of money. My comment was in regards to Uri's website... Mindpunishder 'loves' it, I don't. There's really no need to get your knickers in a twist when someone makes a criticism towards your new master. The site as a design piece is only mediocre and content wise it is garbage - the page I linked to being a prime example of that. The whole pages bears a striking resemblance to the plot of the movie "23", and whether or not it was inspired, the relationship will be paramount in the minds of many, so using it is, imo a mistake. The opening paragraphs about 9/11 strike me as cheap. The string theory stuff.... please. They couldn't even show 11:11 on the graphic linking to the page. It shows 11:06. If you like it fine... state your opinion and be judged by it.

I'm having a bad day, but what does the Jag have to do with "REAL Mentalism history?"
I don't see any bent forks or spoons on it.... |

Nice one Drew. You are doing a great thing and if I had the money I would definitely bid on that Jag! Keep us all informed of how the trip goes and I wish you lots of luck for everything.

The cause looks good, and I wish you the best of luck!
Uri Gellers site does scream of bad site design though. It reminds me of a cheap prepackaged site. Everyone has an opinion. |

Drawing duplications, spoon bending and so on... I mean, come on! Now, consider this; how much would Houdini's car be worth today? In years to come, will people look back on Uri as an enigma, on a par with Houdini, who carved out a place in magical histoy? You bet. So the car is not just a car, it's an inventment, AND a slice of mentalism history for mind readers / paranormalists / psychological illusionists of the future. |

Drew, I would have taken you up on the offer, but I'm afraid there wouldn't be much left of the car by the time you arrive here
