I just wanted to share a method I've been using for a while, mainly for design dupes, but it has many other uses.
I'm interested in hearing any other impromptu/makeshift props that any of you may have found that work well in real world settings. the one I'm sharing may not be new, but I've never heard of anyone using it. its a cellphone 'shiner'... basically, if your (or anyones) cell phon is on a table (or your lap if seated) it can work as a very nice shiner. my particular phone opens (its the LG voyager)and can sit on the table open (like a laptop)... in casual conversation I sometimes ask the time, then check my phoone, and leave it open on the table... it can work as a great shiner that way from quite a distance. any other thoughts?? |

Thanks for shareing,
My phone is a smaller phone (so is the screen) but this works pretty good. This is something that I think will play out great in those certin situations when the only thing you have is your phone. Thanks, Daren

Some watches, glasses and sunglasses can do the job too (as shiners).
Others ideas: - As I said somewhere, a cellphone can be used for PW. - A broken lead under your n*** can be an impromptu NW. |

The original post refers to 'secret' props...
though I must admit, I use paper and pencil too. |
