Last week it was announced that Dean Dill had been diagnosed with cancer. The magic community is a tight one - a beautifully dysfunctional family ... one of us could use some help.

I am currently holding a fundraiser to help Dean and his family. From today (August 6th) through August 13th the total amount of every sale at http://www.waynehouchin.com will be donated to Dean.

So how do you participate? Easy. Get some magic! 100% of the money you spend through August 13th will be donated to Dean. Help out a legend + learn some magic... Not a bad deal!

How about for those who already down your products who would like to help? Where can they send funds or letters or cards? People shouldn't have to feel like they need to get something back as an incentive to help a friend in need.

Dean is one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was one of many who came to MY aid a few years ago when I lost everything I owned in a fire. I don't think a this could have happened to a nicer guy. I'd be happy to help Dean in anyway I can.....

Wayne. I'm in for a Search and Destroy DVD. Not something that I was thinking about getting but your generosity in helping Dean Dill makes me want to participate. I am a cancer survivor (testicular) and wish the best for Dean.

There is also a thread under Did You Hear The Latest. If you already own Wayne's great DVDs you can also just donate directly to Dean via PayPal at intmiracle@deandill.com If you cannot or wish not to donate you can also just drop Dean a note of support during this rough and scary time. Dean has had a few big hits personally over the last year or two. Per my post on Did You Hear The Latest you may not get a response back from Dean as he is out of touch to really focus on beating this. I KNOW he does appreciate the support, word, thoughts, prayers, etc. I am periodically talking with Dean so am happy to also relate all of what you guys are doing. It's great to see such brotherhood for such a great guy and one who has had such an impact on many of us. Thanks and thanks for doing this Wayne.
