Can anyone provide some feedback about this wonderful piece of magic shown on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOxdJs-UZ50 . Abbotts Magic sells 'Jason's Coin Box' for One Hundred USD and I was hoping to hear a bit more before committing the funds. Any info on the magi as well would be great - the slight of hand that can be viewed in the video seems very polished. Thanks in advance for you help!
Regards, Barrett James

Don't own the box, don't know the performer, but from the clip it's evident that a lot depends on the routine, since what the box does is relatively simple. The routine with the three coins is well constructed, and nicely executed. It includes an acquitment following the striking vanish that is not exactly standard. So if what appeals to you is the routine, I'd make sure that the routine is included when you buy the box.
There ya go, two cents.

A lovely routine. Bold and well constructed. This can be done with a Boston Box, but you can't start clean. Then again you don't always have to!

There are "other" round Okito boxes that are gimmicked the way Jason's Box appears to be. His routine IS strong.

One reason for the $100 price is simply that it is a dollar sized box.

Looks like standard sleights to me. Not sure why you would want to spend all that money on something that's basically a sleight of hand trick. You may even own the necessary "box" to do this trick.

Looks to me like the it is the equivlent to john kennedys mystery box... but with coins... and a simpler method... I would bet you could get simliar reactions though.
My guess is that it would be less exsaminable then the John Kennedy box. Shawn
