Hi everybody,
especially older children really like the effect when you change a piece of paper into a real bill. Right now I use the method where both pieces are folded into eights and glued together and then you fold the paper together and unfold the bill. It gives you no problems and it works and it is good. Can anybody recommend a better method that really works in children shows? Thanx Daniel |

Good old tt and switcheroo always works, but I have found that kids don't really care about money magic much unless its a misers dream
Never criticize someone else until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Then, when you do criticize them, you will be a mile away from them and you will have their shoes.

I used to use the excellent Dynaswith - put out by Camirand Academy - and it used to fool the older kids pretty well!
I also disagree that older kids don't like money magic - I used to perform the aforementioned trick, together with Patrick Page's Easy MOney trick to great effect. Presently I'm using Wonderlock - with a bank night theme and it goes over very well with this age group (8-12s). FYI, Wonderlock is a Seven Keys to Baldpate type trick put out by Houdini Magic. |

I would recommend trying jumbo bills. They are larger so more people can see it farther away. And after you do the switch, tear and restore the bill.

I've been using my tipless switch for years, with a mismade bill. The mismade begs to be examined, because it's so unbelievable. Gimmicked bills don't come close to what I'm doing. It fries people of all ages. They're so dumbstruck that they often try to refold the bill to make it go back. No switch is suspected because there was no other bill, as far as they're concerned. Their eyes never leave the bill - that's the effect, anyway.

I use the standard TT and do 1 to 100. As long as the kids are older than say 5 yrs old, it kills them. I don't know a kid out there that wouldn't want a 100 dollar bill and that doesn't know the difference between a 1 and a 100! Just ask them how much candy they can buy with the one THEN ask them how much candy they can buy when it's a 100! They will tell you.

There's a routine in Steinmyer's Conjuring Anthology that you might interest you. Can't recall it's name, but it uses a Flash Cash and few other props.
