Here’s an amusing little tale with a possible happy ending. And it might even be true.
Once upon a time, two performers were called by a TV producer that was working on a new show. He wanted to know if these two performers would be interested in being hired to come on this contest show and make a pressentation about a business idea they supposedly wanted to start up and as part of their presentation they would do a little of what they do as performers. Since the show was about pitching a business idea to potential investors, the two performers had to come up with a fake business idea. They did this, creating a proposal for a new big flashy tourist attraction. Now here is where it gets amusing. In putting together the proposal, one of the performers spoke about it to some business people with whom he is friendly. Several of them liked the idea for this fake business and offered to invest if the thing was to be done for real! It would take 2.2 million to get the doors open and more than half of that has been offered up. It was all set up to fail on the TV show, but it might actually succeed in real life. Funny, ain’t it? |

If one or two of those performers were hypothetically here, I would wish them the best of luck. Then I would sit quietly and wait to see what happens next.
Good luck! Fitz
