Mr. Becker, Mr. Earle,
That sounds like a very good addition to any book test. I am working on a presentation using "Ultimate Flashback" at the moment. And being from Germany I like the idea of "out of body walking tours through European cities". Thanks for all the great products you both created and will create in the future.

Thanks guys. Last week we received two bound editions of Double Vision to inspect and review. We made several refinements and returned the revised disk to the printer yesterday. We have also made a Quicktime movie that will be posted on our Mentalism Unlimited website to enable purchasers of Double Vision to privately see two most important handlings, that while simple in execution, are more quickly absorbed when you see it done instread of just reading it. I sent a copy of the instructions to my good friend Larry White for his perusal. He had some wonderful observations, but I will quote only the last paragraph of his page and a half e-mail: "I compliment you and Lee on a monumental piece of mentalism. Your ultimate Flashback was superb but you have now proven it was not the "Ultimate." To paraphrase Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, you guys have taken the booktest "To infinity and beyond."
Click on the link above and check out our pre-publication offer. Lee placed some actual photos of the covers and several of the pages on the site. Best always - Larry

How useful is DOUBLE VISION for someone who is not performing in the English language? What about the use of pictures and maps?

Anyone purchased this yet?
Also I have the same question as Manfredo. Is it good for non-english language audience?

I just received mine and, after a quick examination, I can honestly say I love it. There's a lot going on between the covers!
Unfortunately, the nature of book seems to preclude using it for audiences that don't speak English. |

Great book test! You are getting a lot of info in a quick peek. I can't wait to put it into action.

Several great things about Double Vision:
1) The book is absolutely convincing; it really looks like a travel guidebook, from the glossy cover to the walking-tour maps and photos inside. 2) The peek gives you information that is "layered," so that it tells you more than one thing. 3) The information you peek can be used for various presentations -- reading the spectator's general thought, getting a specific word, doing a "remote viewing" experiment on a walking tour, or doing a design duplication of a photo or other image in the book. For me -- I'm a travel writer (National Geographic Society, Islands magazine, etc.) -- it's perfect! For anyone, it's an utterly baffling book test with a book that's interesting by itself, since we all like to travel. Cheers, Jerry |

Thanks to all who have praised Double Vision. It was a labor of love. But it was also a great way to spend over four hilarious months. I wouldn't do this stuff If I didn't have such a great time doing it. We're now working on a companion piece to Double Vision. No, it's not another booktest. But then again, either is Double Vision. If you can't convince an audience that you're a thought reader with Double Vision, then you should try collecting stamps. And don't forget, it carries a guarantee as well if it is purchased directly from Mentalism Unlimited. After you receive it, look it over for seven days. If you think it's not for you, return it in the same condition that you received it, for a refund less postage. Since it was first shipped last Friday, we have had nothing but rave reviews. Check it out at our website: http://www.mentalismunlimited.com/DoubleVision.html
Regards to all--Larry

Those of us who have it, should also thank Larry and Lee for the quicktime film and instructions at the VIP portion of their site. If you are not a VIP member, I suggest you become one. Again, thanks for a terrific book test.

I recently received my Double Vision and WOW! A TON went into making this test an absolute knock-out.
Worth the going rate just because of the thinking and effort involved with its creation . . . better yet, YOU WILL USE IT! I have a love/hate relationship with book tests in general. I own The Wizards Manual, Ultimate Flashback, Double Vision and MOAB. I've retired the W.M. for personal reasons (performance restrictions which can be overcome but I don't have the time or will), and have stuck with a U.Flashback/MOAB routine. I've not yet used Double Vision in a formal performance, but in my trial runs and initial off hand demonstrations it has been flooring people. The points that really stand out for me are many . . . ease of use (different from ease of PERFORMANCE), so innocent and legit looking, LOADS of info revealed with minimal info taken (again, with ease and above suspicion), not limited to words but also numbers, pictures, telephone #'s, maps with travel routes and more. I will work it to a fine and precise presentation and include it immediately. This is one of those things you just know will be in your working material for good. Top recommendation! -J

I just inherited a collection of magic and this is part of the collection. I am quite intrigued. The links for Larry's sites are no longer working. I would love to see the videos mentioned. Anybody know where to find them? My only quibble is that the name "Mentalism Unlimited" is in several places and would be a dead giveaway to anyone looking at the opening pages or last page. But maybe that doesn't happen.
