I tried to post a picture and kept making it smaller and smaller but I kept getting an error that the picture was too large. The file size was well below the 15k that it says the max is. Is this functionality not working?

You can only upload an image to be included with your post that meets all three size requirements, as well as the file type requirements.

Upload limits:
Size: 15000 Bytes (15 KB)
Width: 300 Pixels (images only)
Height: 100 Pixels (images only)
Valid File Types: .doc .gif .jpg .pdf .rtf .txt .zip

Ok, I did get it to work but it is REALLY small. It seemed I had to make BOTH the width and height less than 100 pixels for it to work though...

I'm testing here. Can you post a link to the topic where you have attached the picture you had to reduce to 100 X 100?

There's nothing we can do about it scriptually. The max sizes are a management decision, so all three limits (four, with file type) have to be met for the file to be accepted. The image in question is pretty much square (equal width and height), so reducing the height to 100 would - because of the image's aspect ratio - necessarily reduce the width to that as well. Unless you wanted to crop or alter the image's aspect ratio, then it's going to appear that small. The other option you have is to upload the image to a host of your choice and link to that image here using bbcode.
