Just bought a silicone mask from spfx ....well it's incredibly realistic I fooled almost everybody in my surroundings with it...
just wanted to know if you had any cool idea the way I can use it in a bizarre routine..?
here you have a sample of what the mask looks like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ij-fkS8ZM9w

Maybe in a Seance if you are channeling the guy.

Depending on how easy the mask is to take on/off, you might be able to do something in which you age yourself........such as a riff off of Indiana Jones, where the Nazi drinks from the false Holy Grail and ages (and then of course decomposes) but you get the gist.

Those masks are absolutely realistic. I cannot bring myself to buy one yet though. I perform a couple of bizarre effects but the unspoken theme of my magic show is spookiness instead of pure bizarre as defined by Andruzzi. I think a mask really does something more for a bizarre routine depending on what the mask looks like.
Nice thread!!

Could be useful for a reverse Dorian Gray presentation?
You begin as an old man, destroy the portrait, transform to an younger man.
Think classic curse stories.

Good call, Walt! I was trying to think of the name of that story and it wasn't coming to me!

What is the cost of one such mask? How hard are these masks to put on? It seems like the mouth and eyelids need to be attached with something. Lastly what other faces are avaliaable?

Curious minds want to know.......
If I were to agree with you. Then we would both be wrong. As of Apr 5, 2015 10:26 pm I have 880 posts. Used to have over 1,000

Of course if you are old like the mask, it is simply a redundancy.

Nice mask!

Punx and Borodin both use a mask like this in their haunted key routines.

Cheers,
Matt
