I liked Instant Art, but I really got a lot of mileage out of the Eye Chart as a warm-up for my school shows. I still have their very large catalogue...too bad they are gone!

I have the The Little White Hen and The Big Red Fox from Supreme Magic. Does anyone have the original instructions?

I think that Bunny Tip Top was a Supreme Magic effect. I've used that in combination with a PopAway Wand (which I also think was a Supreme Magic prop), in over 1000 birthday party shows. I still use them nowadays.
I also have a Squeaking Wand made by Supreme, that matches the PopAway wand, but I don't use that as often. - Donald

Tony james is right on. Instant Art is number one and the other (Run Rabbit Run aka Ghost Hunt) which is the one I've used for a long time.
I'm still using Supreme Instant Art in my shows. Another of the Suprems item that was a stand-out is, Golden Galaxy of Roses. Rickcy Ricky |

I have a few of those mentioned here. Some haven't been used in a while. I think I'll dig `em out and start using them again. Thanks for refreshing my memory.
I have a big old wooden Humpty Dumpty set. Is that from Supreme too? |

Let's not confuse props sold by Supreme with Supreme props. I describe the latter as items produced and marketed exclusively by Supreme. The Pom-Pom Prayer stick was not an exclusive Supreme item, in fact I think it was made and distributed by Kovari.
Who's Who at the Zoo was originally produced and sold by Roy Baker and if memory serves invented by Reg Webb. At the time it came out Edwin complained it was a rip-off of Farmyard Frolics. In the mid-seventies Roy Baker retired from dealing and sold the rights to Edwin, so Who's Who at the Zoo became a Supreme exclusive. Lovey Duck was a Billy Day trick, whose items were normally sold by Harry Stanley's Unique Magic Syudio and later by International Magic and Magictrix. Eddie Burke holds the rights to the Billy Day tricks. It is hard to describe the excitement generated each September as Supreme launched a new mini-catalogue of 80 - 100 new items at the British Ring conventions. Most of the time crowds were four and five deep. |

I dson't think the posting is about the props that Sureme made. Most of their tricks were made by other companies.
Edwin made sure that the tricks that he sold were of the highest material and well made. Ricky |

There is a difference between the props Edwin bought in from outside companies and tricks that were made for and sold exclusively by Supreme. Edwin had a notebook which listed all his workers and suppliers who made props exclusively for Supreme. I think it is fair and logical to describe those props as Supreme props, just as you would describe props made by Viking Magic as Viking props or Abbott's props as Abbott's.
I don't want to go off thread but the point is, I feel, worth making. Please continue listing your favourite Supreme effects. |

I believe Humpty Dumpty was first made by Supreme. However, Albion Magic updated the prop, which I have. I dug it out and am going to start using it. Very well made. I was also lucky to get Man In The Moon by Supreme. These props are my Favourites!

I like the Golden Block or whatever the "English style" Die Box that involves a wooden block painted a gold colour as opposed to a conventional dice/die layout.
I think this is a Supreme item... Julie |
