Need some help! Have been using Craig petty's split coin for a few effects! Recently acquired Nathan kranzo's burning up DVD & have been working on a routine using kranzo's method of producing a half dollar after lighting a match! Well the other night I accidentally had the match in front of the coin & it burnt/discolored the coin on the face .....I was ****ed! Is there any polish or anything I can do to get the spot off the coin? Thanks for the help

I've had the same thing happen (different circumstances), The burn mark is not permanent it would take a lot more heat than a match to scar a coin.
I used a metal polish called "Maas", comes in tube like tooth paste. After polishing the coin it looked brand new. Works great on tarnished english pennies. Good luck |

Hey!
Don't worry, just use some silver cleaner and it should come up as good as new. If you have any problems let me know Craig |

I don't think you'll get the mark off, so sell it to me cheap
What coin is it ?? If its a half dollar, try white toothpaste and polish it. add some water while polishing. |
