I caught a burglar with magic last week. Any suggestions in how I should use this FOX news report?

I play it up several differnt ways...
AS SEEN ON TV! in one spot on your website and then in a media section you could have the video and then in your client section you could list FOX 2 TV as one of your clients! WAY TO GO! Magician ONE Crooks NONE! Christopher

Is it me or does 15 years sound a bit outlandish for 'stealing" some pills with no break-in, no assault, no weapon. Im guessing its news sensationalism unless this is a parole for instance.15 years-NOT

Hey Tony, You said, "But if the guy genuinely faces fifteen years incarceration, and I was responsible for catching him, I would keep my mouth shut about it. that's a hell of a thing to have on your conscience.'
I am not sure what sort of time he will do. He will probably get a few years probation and if he pees positive he will have to do some time. Remember he entered my house numerous times until will narrowed it down to him. He entered once earlier that day while my wife was home alone, My wife scared him away by calling out my name. What if he got scared that he may get caught and tried to do something. The video is of him upstairs in my bedroom. He and his girlfriend have not paid their rent this month $750. (My mortgage company still wants a payment) The eviction will take about 5 more weeks, which means rent for next month is unlikely. They still owe a water and sewerage bill another $85. I am not going to shut my mouth about it. Here is another take on the story from another station: http://www.clickondetroit.com/video/20710699/index.html PS The camera was hidden in a devils handkerchief Gordon |

Hi Gordon. I did not mean to imply any criticism of you. He broke into your house and you caught him. I know your anger; I have had a tennant renting from me and ending up owing me well over a thousand - not counting utility bills and cleaning bills. I have also had a family member (sister-in-law) being even more intrusive than this guy was to you.
However I do not believe his crime merits fifteen years. That is what I was commenting on. In both video clips you and your wife come across as compassionate people and I know you are in no way responsible for what sentence he gets. You say in your post here that he is most likely to get probation (and presumably the help he needs). But if he did get fifteen years (as the news reporter took great delight in saying) then his life is destroyed. In those circumstances you would be best not using that situation in any way. I think some situations are best just gotten over and left behind. Share your relief - and your anger - with friends, with colleagues, then put it behind you and get on with life. My comment was a criticism of the judicial system and not yourself. I apologise sincerely if I caused you upset. Tony.
