I was in a local metaphysical book store, and I brought 2 playing card sized waite/coleman/rider tarot decks to the register.

I got into a brief chat with a few of the other shoppers, and made an off-handed remark when one of them asked "Why are you buying two of the same tarot decks?"

My response? "Well I like to slip a couple of extra DEATH cards in there. You know... It keep them on their toes!"

It got really quiet in there for a minute...

(Well I really couldn't tell them I was splitting them and making double backer/double facers and split facers now, could I?)

That's choice!

Perhaps a Svengali deck is in order?

there is a huge tarot association in the Bay Area that does demos and hosts workshops and such. I've got a line on all their killed decks, and am just waiting to finalize the deal... I'm pretty excited about that.

A good friend of mine visited a Christian shop in a small town called Walsingham in the U.K. . A place of pilgrimage for 1000 years.
This particular shop sells secondhand Priest's vestments etc.
My friend asked if 'they were from all the defrocked priests?'
He was promptly thrown out of the shop........ not very christian Smile
