To me a fine example of someone who has learned hypnotherapy by rote. When attempting 'something different' he show no control, assurance or even faith in his work...

Yanking someone hard by the neck... Hmm, not so fond of that. He should probably use someone lighter/shorter than him if he's going to be yanking her off balance too...

Gil boyne was probably one among the first teaching this method in his advanced classes
of course mr.boyne is neither clumpsy nor unprepared....... but for newbies who think that instant inductions are ALWAYS 100% surefire: no!!! can this induction [pre-induction] fail ?? yes I was in one of mr.Boyne classes back in 90 when he was in glendale: one student and only one student after he gave the pull and even the deepening script had the need to open his eyes and to straighten up then he said to us watching: I'm not hypnotized I recall mr.Boyne saying something to the man as if to diffuse his challenging attitude [or just to save his face before the class: it only was the second day in the training and first day was passed mostly by watching video and from a intro on hypnosis by Boyne] but not surprisingly the day after that guy was not in our class. Mr.Boyne spontaneously addressed the fact; first thing in the morning,by brieflytelling us he had refunded all the money to the guy and told us that the guy [who was an engineer by trade] was overly analytical and unable to let go: so he told the guy if he wanted to leave the class: and the guy did now if a thing like thart . in the hands of Boyne: after a day of preconditioning thru videos of him showing us a good 60% of the time only that induction and 40% other types of induction. and yet he failed once: that mean that a lot of people who think those jerking inductions and the zapping are 100% are a little delusional: nothing work 100% |

Seriously, if I were hypnotising a que of people this is exactly the method I'd be using. It's simply pure showbiz. I love it! This one one of my favourite methods at group parties. It works beautifully. Although the guy comes across as a bit of a ..... well, y'know.

Yeah you mean a bit of a Bobser - we know. Its an induction for the stage it has no other use. Its not even the best induction for the stage and its risky. The hypnotist as far as I can see is not a stage hypnotist so why he is doing this on video leaves me confused. He is also very bad at it. Looks like he just learned it from a dvd or weekend course and is showing off badly. I never did like Gyl Boyne's therapy it always looked a bit mad to me. I have videos where the females head lands in his lap looking very odd. Yet he continues with a straight face into the camera. Absolutely Bonkers.... |

Hi Bobser ,The difference between you and the iffy guy is that you have skill and tallent, iv'e seen you work on many occassions . It could be your personality that puts them at ease and alows them to drop so easily.
I hope the other guy has medical insurance, And yet in my earlier days I too was very harsh with my inductions, but with age you learn. How old is the other guy going to be when he gets it right? JUST HOLD MY ZIMMA FRAME WHILE YOU LOOK INTO MY EYES. Cheers Mark |

Thankyou Mark. Your reputation as a good watcher and knower of hypnotists with personality who can put people at ease and drop them easily goes before you.

She is big boned which made the drop more pronounced. She was falling forward which increased the visualization of a hard pull. I do not think her neck snapped as much as it appeared.

Candini as a highly traines CSI cop in the USA you are highly trained to see things at a glance. The others in here, well, aren't. But sweriously you qare of course spot on. It was a bit like David hypnotising Goliath, whilst facing up hill. For me each time I watch this it just gets funnier and funnier. I simply CANNOT watch this now without laughing out loud.

You shouldn't laugh at people with big bones. They can't help it.

Oh dear, you're right enough. Feeling bad now. But what about those little feckers, can I laugh at them with their teensy weensy scrawny wee bones and their squeeky voices? And their photographs of The Queen Mother on a bike, just outside Ballater, eating a fishcake. Can we laugh at them?
I'm reminded of the Glaswegian hypnotist called Damien (I know, there are many Glaswegian hypnotists called Damien!)who told me of the woman in a bar who, when told that when he snapped his fingers would totally relax and fall into a deep state, did just that. And as her head hit the corner of the table (from a standing postion)and the blood started to ooze out of her right ear as she lay there on the floor, Damien simply gave the instruction: "...and you will not feel a thing". He claimed it worked perfectly. "She didn't move a muscle". Probably not for a couple weeks anyway.
