Hi folks,
what kind of balloon do you recommend for his faboulius trick? What are they called and where to get them? I feel ripped off, paying exorbitant sums for the standard refills. I hope to find good ballons somewhere else. What are you using?

Standard size clear balloons... when the balloon is de-flated, it is not quite as wide as a card and is slightly longer if I remember correctly... I haven't performed it for a while because I need to buy more myself... it's a great effect that kills.

What means de-flated? sorry for my english.
I always read about "silk ballons" or something like that. Are they special? And with standard size you can perform this effect flawlessly?

De-flated ist der Ballon gemeint wenn er nicht aufgeblasen ist. |

Don't get what most would call standard balloons. Go to a party shop and get balloons that are made out of latex rubber. You will get much better results. The balloons that are sold in dept stores are not very good for this effect or for needle thru balloon. Fact is "Standard" balloons suck for most magic.
Way are the latex balloons better? Main reason is they stretch farther then reg toy balloons that are sold in dept stores and toy stores. Those balloons are not made of 100 percent latex. The 100 percent latex is what you need. |

These may do the job, but I'd call and ask what they think. http://dennymagic.com/store/needle-thru-balloon-refills.html

Balloons have brand names, inflation in inches and other such information on the bags.
If you are offering advice about balloons it would be good to check the information on the bags if possible (I know we don't always have the original bags). -Mary Mowder |
