Does anyone have experience or opinion about using the psychometry approach in which one person handles the object while another gives the 'cold read'? Alternately, the second person would handle the object and give the read but would not have any first hand knowledge of the owner. There are, of course, many ways in which the two performers can secretly communicate. Whould this approach strengthen the effect, cause confusion, or other?
I have a special reason for exploring this that I will reveal later. For now, I just need unhampered opinios/views.

In my psychic development classes, there we all pass around objects and write down our impressions.
When working at a public reading event where one reader may be doing psychometry and another doing tarot or palms sometimes a guest will get both types of readings. If the readings differ, fine. Different readers reading different things, one the client, one an object that MAY have some crossover to the client. In a performance situation, or working as a reader at a private event, never. Personally, I work alone, and if there was another reader there, see the paragraph above. That is just me though. Tony |
