Do people think Andy Griffith was hard to work with?

I had heard that and was prepared top be on best behavior, but on set he and the younger guy (Danny Roebuck) were nothing but nice, Andy called me aside to go over lines etc, very pleasurable experience,only [person I saw him upset with was the makeup girl, he thought she came to powder his face too much

Very cool! It was one of my favorite shows. I still watch the reruns sometimes.

BTW, you did a great job! Sorry, forgot to say that. I'm an actor as well, so I'd like to think I know enough about it to spot when someone has truly done a great job. So many times I see really poor acting from the day-players in shows like this.
