Hey all,
I'm sure you've heard this question a million times, but a thorough search of the forums has not produced the information I'm looking for, so I thought I'd ask for some help. I have a few resources on riffle stacking, including: Marlo's Riffle Shuffle Systems, Richard Turner's Science of Shuffling and Stacking DVD, and Darwin Ortiz On Card Cheating DVD. I have not been able to locate Karl Fulves' Riffle Shuffle Technique, Marlo's Magazine, or Andrew Wimhurst's Down Under Deals no matter how much I search. I'm looking for any other resource people might have seen or heard of with regard to riffle stacking. I'm working on a practice regimen for this, and want to make sure I have as much information available to me with regard to techniques before I decide which ones to focus on. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer! -Mnemonimage |

You sometimes find them in the selling section or ebay or other magic selling sections.

Sal Piacente's Poker Cheats Exposed DVD, Steve Forte's Gambling Protection Series, Sal Piacente's Expert Card Magic Lecture Notes volume 2 (goes over it in greater detail than in his poker DVD), a very nice book by Allan Kronzek titled "52 ways to cheat at poker" is one of my favourite books to learn from.
Hope this helps. Michael |

Seems like you already have some pretty good resources already. Must you get more before you can practice?

Well, probably you'll be interested to know that by the end of the year I plan to finish the small booklet about riffle stacking I talked about here, a few weeks ago...
Not as definitive or exhaustive like Marlo's or Fulve's ones, but dedicated to "actual" stacking. I mean, if you wanna deal [1-5] cards to the [1-n]th guy out of [1-n] using RRSRC or RRSRRC, whether it's for a gambling demo or for fun, it should help you a little... I write "actual" because I appreciate the old ways to stack a deck, formula stacking, haymow stack, etc., but it's not credible anymore around a table. I talk for myself, but I never meet guys shuffling for hours at a table, nor mixing the cards face up (joke inside). Riffle shuffle is the main stream nowadays. |

Let me know when you've finished it and I'll be first in line. Or, if you'd like an editorial review, I'd tout it far and wide for an advance copy (hint, hint...) Thanks for the response! |
