You've talked about these before, on two previous threads (from the Tricky Business area). Perhaps you forgot:
--> Café thread titled... Looking Fo......gic Sets --> Café thread titled... Have you s......ic kits? Also, here is another thread (this one from the little darlings area) that talked about them not being available: --> Café thread titled... Penguin Custom magic kits? I wonder why their website isn't updated to reflect that? - Donald

You can say they are "$3 each" all you want, but if you can't buy them, then they aren't really $3 for 10 tricks.
The person on that other thread said you couldn't buy them (Penguin had quality problems with their suppliers, and therefor isn't selling them to customers). Do you have information to the contrary? - Donald

I've heard of those $3 sets...
comes complete with 30 authentic dimes and a slip of paper teaching the budding magician how to spend them! ...sorry, did not really mean to interrupt this discussion, but at the same time I couldn't resist a cheap ($3) laugh Carry on.... Jonathan

I'm not going to call them, but will you?
Instead of asking us here, why not call and ask if they are selling them. (Something about "getting your information straight from the horse's mouth" goes here.) The last report from a potential customer is that they aren't selling them, and no one has stepped forward to say that they bought them. That leads me to a conclusion. But I could be wrong. - Donald P.S. Some magic dealers have been known to advertise items that they don't have in stock, and won't be having in stock anytime soon (if ever again / ever at all). This point has been brought up on many other threads.

I emailed them about the set and they responded that they "WERE NOT" available. I then asked, "Why NOT?", and never got a response.

It's too bad, the little sets looked promising.

I know this is an old thread, but are there any new websites that sell custom magic kits?

Here are 2 links that have been mentioned on other threads:
http://custommagickits.com/ http://www.funinc.com/about/custom-magic/ I haven't ordered from either site (I'm just passing along a link), so you'll have to get feedback from others about the quality of these products. - Donald

P.S. One more thought. If you're willing to buy regular magic kits, and then customize them yourself, here are a couple more sources:
https://www.loftus.com/catalog/MAGICSET http://www.ezmagicrobbins.com/ These companies sell individual tricks and magic kits wholesale (you must meet some conditions). I have purchased individual magic tricks in bulk from Loftus before (to assemble my own magic kits), and was happy with their service (and the quality of their products). - Donald
