Hmmmm...maybe the wrong title, as I guess it is down to personal preference and opinions...but I am just curious what the Cafés 'mentalism fraternity' believe to be the best or most popular Q & A to perform. I have always been intregued by the effect, and have decided I want to add it to my show. But would like some help...i have done searches, and looked around, but can't seem to find a thread on this...however, if there is, apolgoies and would love to just be directed to the already in place thread.
Thanks |

Well, I just searched with the term "Q&A" and got lots of threads...what did you search for?
and as for best, whatever is going to suit you best...its one of those unanswerable questions...what'll suit you may not suit me blah blah blah...
I've asked to be banned

As Iain pointed there are a number of threads... even some active ones in Inner Thoughts... down below.

There has been a ton of material written about the Q&A act. As a matter of fact, in the past, this has probably generated more thought than any other single effect.
I suggest before you start looking at the newer methods, you check out those in the Tarbell Course, 13 Steps, Nelson, Burling Hull, etc. Richard |

Interesting title for a thread? I'am sure that your going to get some interesting responces, but..since you ask. I like and do a modified version of Docc's Perfect Mental Club Act. This is more of a " message reading " presentation and not a true Q & A, but it achieves almost the same thing. I like it because I don't have to pass out pens and paper, nothing is written down. And the prop I use fit my personal tastes.

I use a combination of methods, but the biggest influence on my Q&A were Bob Cassidy, and George Anderson's Dynamite Mentalism. I have recently read Paul Bell's Reader of Minds! and some of that will be making its way speedily into my act.

Thanks for the suggestions so far guys...and I searched 'Best Q & A' as I believed someone must have asked the question before. I didn't just search Q & A as I thought it would bring up a lot of threads, many of which I assumed would be in depth talk on a subject that I do not know a huge deal about.
Again, thanks |

John Riggs has some of the best books on Q&A - well worth reading for a modern perspective

Christopher-
I'm not being a smarta** about this, but the reason you mentioned for not reading the threads is the very reason you need to read the threads. You'll learn much from culling the info of these members. Happy hunting. Tom
