Last night I had the opportunity to see John and Morgan perform their Spooktacular show at the St.George Theater in Staten Island. I can’t tell you how refreshing it was to see grand illusions presented with a thematic presentation. Most illusionists today come out and their assistants dance around and there is no reason behind what they are doing other than just to do that illusion.
John and Morgan so thoroughly wrap their presentations up into the theme, both in illusion design (Modern Art made to look like a toe pincher coffin) scenery, music, costumes and script, that it made for a wonderful trip for the audience. We had John and Morgan come to JMMRT and give their lecture about what it takes to put on a show like Spooktacular, and it was Absolutely GREAT! If you EVER get the chance to see their lecture or the show, I can’t recommend it enough. These two are true professionals who take the art seriously and make it just that…ART! |

I have never seen their show, but once I saw their website, I was in love with magic all over again. I hold them in the highest regard.
Happy Halloween! ~michael
