Hi guys,
I know it's not the best website in the world but I would like to know what your thoughts are please because as things progress changes will need to be made! Hey Louis.
My main concern is that you call them Anatronic, not Anamatronic in the intro and it sounds like cotsward wildlife park. It may sound picky but if I was paying you big money to promote my event I'd expect you to be able to get the script right! Don't take it the wrong way, it's meant to be constructive!

Great looking site! To me though all the colored lights during the book video are distracting and make the movements difficult to see. If I rent the book from you those web effects wouldn't be there so it reads (pardon the pun) like you're trying to enhance the animation because its not exciting enough on its own. Love the bird video with the kids.

Overall a great start, I agree with the lights over the book talking in the beginning of the video.

Can't wait to see what Chance designs for you! What an incredible offer! The lacklustre heading would have been my only criticism but with Chance on board you have that sorted!!
As I've said before, I love the videos of the Toucan interacting with the children. That's where these puppets really come into their own.. I'm interested In where you were hiding when Tommy was in the bushes? I'm presuming it would spoil the effect if the children could see you, yet you need to be close enough to hear their comments and respond. Perhaps Ax should design and offer a pop-up 'hide' so the puppets can be presented in their own enclosure while the operator is concealed behind a net curtain just inches away. Great looking site and Im sure it will bring in tons of work.

It looks good, Louis. One small point- when I run my cursor over Flick, I get "Tommy the Talking Toucan" as the rollover text. A small point, but you should fix that!

Very interesting... how much do you charge for an event? how long will the puppet stay in a particular event?

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your time in posting your thoughts! Colin yes your right I watched it back and Flick does say Anatronic instead of Animatronic. I didn't notice that I was reading from a script and trying to do a different voice so I guess that is where the problem happened! Cotswald, on the Dvd I have out take and there is a bit where I go over where we are as I did mess it up a couple of time! But your right thanks for the advice! Akolodner the light where just added to make that shot just a bit brighter because of where we were! But point taken on board! Tod it does need to be made with a bit more kick to it! I was finding it hard to come up with something however as you have pointed out I'm now called Lucky Louis as Chance has said that he would help me out big time with the Title and/ masterhead! So Chance thank you so much for you very kind offer! I will be repaying by buying one of your new tricks out in December! I wil be in touch soon, wow how cool is that! Hi Kimmo I was hiding right at the back of the group and now and then I would move closer and then move back again! it's so much fun using these Toucan's Doug I will check that out thanks for letting me know! As for driving my clients to the site what do you think I need to do as I'm no techie! Is this something I can do or do I have to get my web guy to do? Louis, bearing in mind the specialist nature of the website, I'd suggest that SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) isn't neccessarily going to work for you here. There are unlikely to be many searches for animatronics puppets, though you could aim to get more general searches to the site - folks looking for "family entertainment", etc.
Probably the best way to go would be a telesales campaign. Just sign up for an "anytime" package with your phone provider, and you can make all your calls for free. Make a list of ALL the venues that might want to take advantage of your puppets, and call them directly. Then follow up with an email and link to your website. The other option would be an email campaign, but I think that would be far less successful, as most folks wouldn't even bother to read it, as they will consider it Spam. Doug |

Hi Wanlu,
Some people want me to do short segments say 30 minutes spots and some time I do long like four hour in one go! The cost is of course different for each show. It really is easy work as there isn't much to take in and set up. The hardest part is being quick with a reply to whatever has been said and making it funny plus keeping the Toucan moving at all times and getting his mouth movements just right with what has been said! Louis, if you decide to launch a telesales campaign, I'd be happy to help you write a script, and cover "objections". For several years I worked in telemarketing, and also have some close friends who are absolutely expert in this field. It's one of the easiest ways to gain new business, and I'd suggest, perfect for this kind of market.
