Thomas Kuntz does brilliant work. I first became aware of him through his sculptures for figure kits and related novelties, and then found out about his automaton work through an issue of "Amazing Figure Modeler."

I own a small casting of one of his sculptures: an Iron Maiden with a 'well' at the top; it's a novelty butane lighter holder. I also have some vinyl kits by the now-defunct Screamin' Models, cast from Kuntz's sculptures. Great stuff.
