If you get the chance, check out John Pyka's routine. Very well done.

I absolutely love Jiggernaut.

But, I got the trick from Mark Jenest's old video 'Miracles While You Wait'.

So, where the heck else do you find plastic olives?!?!?!?!

I got That's Nutz! for the museum. I watched the video to get the method, etc. I keep forgetting what a good magician Danny is.

He is so bloody natural, it's scary. The people in those restaurants don't understand who and what he really is.

Good work, Danny.

Bill, I saw the Randi Rain routine, though I can't get the necessary to fit, though I don't find the necessary necessary, if you know what I mean (though that's not necessary!).

If the necessary is too big to be necessary, then that would explain why you don't find it necessary. I found it necessary to agree with you that it's not really necessary.

Scaress, I sell rubber olives (very realistic) at RNT2.
I have Green Olives with pimento in 3 sizes and Black Olives in one size.

I know this thread is a few months old, but you can also get the olives from Chris Smith at magicsmith.com. These are the ones Mark used and they are great.

This routine is a perfect example of how beneficial it can be for a performer to find as many different approaches to an idea as possible. From Ren Clark's unpublished routine (which he had performed years ago in the Fort Worth area and planned to put in his book), to Mark Jenest's, to Danny's and to Randy's -- look at all the different things that can be done with a simple, inexpensive prop.

To do the same thing with a three cup routine, that is, to get all of the possible research material, would require an entire bookcase.

I may need to pick one of these up. I love the little items that are made to look like something else or use objects other than just balls for the loads.

I like it, but before purchasing, I thought it would be c*****d. I think that would have made it more versatile. I might have to customize mine.

I have both Jiggernaut and Chop by Petty. Combining methods from both creates a more powerful effect. I really like both.

I forgot how good this effect is. Thanks for the reminder Donnie.
Time to dig it out and give it another run.

Bill,
On what year was the Jenest Jiggernaut routine first published ? Any earlier publication with a juggernaut?

I learned this routine from Mark's video (VHS) Miracles While You Wait. It is an excellent routine. I just bought a jigger at a kitchen shop, use corks from wine, yum , and a little red ball instead of an olive.

Tell me if you know, is the routine on the marketed version (DVD) the same as on miracles or is it his more expanded version?

Thanks,

Peculiarone

I still like his three "cup" routine which incorporates this, along with a shot glass and a mug.
