Any recommended material in regards to using mentalism techniques to create a “hypnosis” feel / effect. I guess anything can be played this way using the right presentation – just thought there might be something out there that is worth a look.

Kentonism.

Kentonism is a bit vague and other-worldly. Try The People Sticker Routine by Eddie Burke, available through http://www.mreenterprises.co.uk. It uses a solid mind-reading routine as a lead-in to a pseudo hypnosis routine. It is strong stuff in the hands of a decent performer, and well worth looking at.

Kentonism is not the book Id suggest if youre looking for great examples and routines

I'm not a Kenton Knepper fan . I find most of his work to be nothing special and overhyped hot air

Just use normal hypnosis techniques (focus, concentrate, imagine) but turn off your intention to hypnotise.

That's expensive for Body Magic, but a great book. I had it as a child, and kept it for thirty years. But last year I went through a flood and it got destroyed on the floor of my car. I was gutted.
