Hi All
I have recently started to use a number of effects to upsell my show, as I read many of you do with effects such as Chair Suspension, Flying Carpet etc. My question is; how much performance time do you give to the effect you've upsold? I've been getting about 4-5 minutes from my Chair Suspension, same again for my Head Chopper (older kids shows), and about 6-7 minutes from my Modern Art (which is going down a storm!). My reason for asking is I'm thinking of new routines for them and wondered what you would consider to be a fair amount of time for the money they're paying extra. Thanks Mark

Hi Mark Ill start By saying that the up sell is not based on time but impact. the length is of little importance. the impact of the routine is the partthatyou haveto sell. it is not thattheshowwill be x number of minutes long but thatfor an extra $$$ you will Float Thier Child In Mid air, Suspend horizonatlly across the back of a chair, or safley remove his head and replace it. The routine length then becomes Un important. My Delux show is the samelength as My regular show Just More impressive (and By Far more Popular)

Great advice Michael. I was just always at the back of my mind that they'd be thinking "I paid £XX for 5 minutes..."
Suppose I'm just reading too much into it. I'll carry on as I am then! Thanks Mark
