Hey all, I've finally made the switch to dollar sized coins and purchased a set of Morgan Dollars. I'm wondering what's available as far as props go? I'm familiar with many of them, but I'm curious if anyone uses silver dollar sized Okito Boxes? Coin Squeeze? Holders (scroll down)? Cases? Etc.
I've seen a few threads on cases and whatnot, but I'm truly looking for silver dollar focused stuff, just to see what's there! |

Hey Loren,
You are now entering the big leagues with the Morgans. You can purchase a dollar size Okito coin box for a reasonable price, but when you get into gaffs, the prices are pretty steep. First step should be a one coin routine, then probably a nice "no gaff" coins across and a "no gaff" coins through table. I have gotten caught up recently with a Lassen CSB and Triple Threat, both in Morgans. These sets will give you goose bumps, but they are quite pricey (though worth every cent). I got to have lunch today with Todd (while picking up a new Triple Threat) and Lamont Ream. Talk about a treat...Todd was very gracious and Lamont is one of the best coin workers and magic minds you could ever meet. I will be back in Arizona after the Holidays and would love to get together to discuss your options. Cheers, Sammy

I'm glad to know you haven't forgotten me. Anyway, that sounds fantastic. I really do love the no gaff stuff mostly. I lucked out with a 6th coin as well. I hear that's good for the Slydini Coins Through Table routine. Anyway, I'm very interested in an Okito Box... and some kind of bag, holder, pocket, something to protect and hold these things in. I don't wanna drop these! |

Loren,
I got a couple of these for holding only Ikes and Ike gaffs. I don't use Morgans or any other antique coins.....maybe some day... :o) This will hold 6 Ikes easily, more if you want to double stack them in each individual pocket. Wizard Craft is a very good source: http://www.wizardcraft.com/OConnellJOL.htm Scroll way down to the coin carriers section. Case Logic has a similar one (Office Depot $5) if you don't need real leather.

Thanks for sharing guys. I've seen these as well. I was hoping for something a little more portable. I'm sure these will work out though. I'll take a look at some of the non-leather ones, as I don't use leather for anything myself.
Thanks again guys. |

As it happens, Jamie Grant's Coin Carrier holds six silver dollars just right, with an extra held unseen, but separate if you want. I like it, and there's no problem holding gaffs in there, so long as you fill it.
