The big 4 of thrash are officially setting up a tour together. No US dates announced yet. Sort of breaking news, though rumors have swirled for a while.

The last I heard, this was for two dates only. One in Warsaw, Poland and the other in Prague, Czech Republic on June 16 and 19, 2010, respectively.
There are, I guess, a few more festival dates coming. But I believe that they are all in Europe. I doubt that they will bring it to the states. Metallica have been on tour for the last 2 years. I just saw them in FL in Oct. I think they have almost another year to go abroad and then I imagine they will be taking a break.

I wouldn't be so sure. Slayer and Megadeth are playing together over the next two months, which is pretty cool by itself, so why not?
I will keep watching the announcements with my fingers crossed.

I think three Novembers ago. I wanted to change it because I don't look anything like that now, but I couldn't get any of my more recent pics resized right.

Is Belladonna or Bush singing for Anthrax?

I'd rather have Belladonna. I prefer the earlier Anthrax material anyway, but nevertheless hardly listen to them. But to be honest, I don't really care for a tour when every band is waaay past their prime. If this was the early 90s or late 80s, this would be a wet dream. Also, there are much better thrash bands out there than the "big four" (what a silly concept).
It's nice that the bands are leaving their middle school rivalries behind and actually cooperating, though. |

I don't think they are past their prime. Metallica and Megadeth have both recently released cd's that have far surpassed anything they've done in the last 15 years. Slayer has never weakened. Haven't listened to a ton of Anthrax other than the stuff Dimebag Darrell played on.
I don't really think there are better new thrash bands. There are some decent bands playing some thrash-like music, but I haven't heard any that surpass the originals. They may play faster or scream louder, but I wouldn't call that better. That's just my opinion though. Everyone has their own tastes. This is all I could find on Anthrax' current lineup: ANTHRAX IS: Frank Bello: Bass Guitar, Vocals Charlie Benante: Drums, Guitars Scott Ian: Rhythm Guitar, Vocals Rob Caggiano: Lead Guitar

The new Megadeth and Slayer weren't terrible, though the production was pretty detrimental to both. Andy Sneap made Endgame much too sterile and it just sounds bland, and WPB suffers the same problems as Death Magnetic. Each album has its moments, but too be honest, none of the four bands have done anything that is remotely as good as their 80s material. I do agree that those two albums are better than Deth's and Slayer's more recent material.
