I am not sure off the top of my head. It might included in the Goldstone Reader by Collector's Workshop. That was a republication of the Magician's annuals. I will try to look in the next day or two to find the volume.

It is in Goldston's magic annual 1909-1910. It is called "Great Scot" in that book. In typical, Goldston fashion it is not 100% correct.

Remember Richard, Goldston was like the masked magician of those days, revealing the methods (or in some cases, what he thought the method was) of popular performers' works. Whether he had the right to oor not. Most often than not, he changed the name.
BUT....he did leave us an incredible documentation of materials/illusions of his time! Blair

What I like best about this effect is that there are enough components to the illusion that you just don't know for *certain* where, much less how, the magic happens. Too many wrong conclusions can be drawn, which makes it a great mystery for all This reminds me of why I enjoy magic so much.

Fabrice,
I'm pretty sure Richard gave you the right direction. Look up the 61 point what said Stage Mysteries. It could be there. I saw another Goldston book where he talks about 20-25 different stage illusions. I'm sure the Oh illusion was not there. I remember a Servais Le Roy illusion, Kellar's Floating Lady and the Revolving Piano were in that book. Blair is 100% correct Goldston was the early Val who revealed other people illusions.
