Just curious. I had a discussion, over a cup of coffee, with another mentalist recently. He considered hot reading crossing the ethical line. I don't want to go into how to do them as that needs to be in Inner Thoughts. I personally love them and I guess I may have pushed the envelope a couple... well a few times. But I was wondering, does anyone here use them? Do you consider them crossing the "ethical" line?
Peace and Godspeed.
Peace

I think it's all a grey area and only depends on who you are talking to.
But, to me, both Hot AND Cold are unethical. But anything goes if you're entertaining.

I think it depends on the situation but in general, in an entertainment situation, I don't know what the problem would be. I have never done them myself, but again ...why not.
On the other hand, if this was for a serious private reading I would tend to not like the idea. Still, everything is situational and in general I don't know what the problem could be.

You can t really argue ethically against it,since,as a mentalist/magician, you're already lying and deceiving anyway
