I am just getting into animal balloons etc.. I am wondering what gage of balloon I should be using. I see there are different gages of balloons out there. When would I use different gages, etc.. Thx for any help.

Hi, different gauges (assuming you mean what I think) of balloons are used primarily to make different sizes of bubbles, which are used in different sizes of scultures/figures etc. some 'special' balloons are different shapes and again are used to make different sculptures. hope this helps

You're looking for 260s. That's the standard-size twisting balloon. They are (in theory) 2 inches wide by 60 inches long.
Other sizes of twisting balloon include 160s, 350s, and 646s. These come into play when you want thicker or thinner lines in your sculptures. You can make the same things you make with 260s out of 1+ 350s, and have the result be larger with not that much more amount of effort. |
