If I wanna buy an illusion like
mini cube zag Is it possible to get that in a normal station wagon or do I need a bigger car. Anyone use this illusion and have a small car ? Jonas |

I would you think you may need a small cargo trailer. When I do a show I pack everything in a cargo trailer. I don't see how you could pack the mini cub zag and the rest of your show in a car. My 2 cents...

The mini cube zag fits in a normal station wagon (you can lay it flat & remove the legs or remove the legs and the top part)
If you buy one get the original Puchinger design as they are very deceptive! They are easy to find second hand and are a great investment. |

Jonace,
You wont have any problems getting the MKZ in your car. It breaks down pretty flat and the biggist piecies are the base and the tubes. Check out http://www.smmagic.com to see photos and call Dan with questions. He is the best guy in the world to work with. Andrew |

Always arrive in a Ferrari, have the road crew follow with the props in a truck.

I have a mini kube, and let me tell you for the money it is the best portable illusion money can buy. I have put it in a station wagon many times. I lay it on its back.I take off the top two legs, put the tubes and the blade inside, and you are good to go. I have even put this in a pt crusier, with the back seats laid down. I now own a dodge magnum, and with a little trial and error on placement of the equiptment, I get a lot props in a small space.

Jonace,
My suggestion would be to get an SUV or cargo van because once you get the one illusion, you'll probably want at least one more. Now, you'll need the room of a cargo trailer and you can just attach a trailer hitch to the SUV or the use the additional room in the cargo van. And remember, the more you can keep the props together it really helps reduce your set up time once you get to the venue.

My recommendation is either a cargo van or small trailer. I have a 6X12 trailer and it's worked great...lots of room, and like David said, there's room for everything to be fairly organized, which ultimately saves time.
Yours In Magic,
