It does a good job for the first pic, but if you have 3 or 4 pics and people take a close look, they will notice the slanted scratch stays the same in ALL of the photos.
I would not take that chance. A neat old photo generator if you just need one pic aged though

The scratch could be moved by rotating the image before sending it to be aged. Then return the image to its original orientation, thus moving the scratch to a different location.
An image could be initially stretched, then aged, then returned to its original dimensions by unstretching it. This moves the scratch to the side. The stretching/unstretching procedure is somewhat messy, but it will work.
