Have had this on my shelf for a couple of years an finally decided to learn it. I have to say it really is nice effect. it is going into my summer library show. I always like to open the show with some really cool magic to music and I think this fits the bill. I know Puck has some fantastic handling that he added to this effect where he used a little bit of flash string to help sell the newspaper being restored. I have taped the paper in spots that will be worn to give it more strength and for it to last longer. But just brilliant piece of magic by John!

I used this for a season and then sort of forgot about it. But I will have to dig it out again because I did love performing it. Very clever thinking that fooled me when I saw it. Plus, it's fun to perform.

Great piece of Magic and you do not need to use a silk! I have been doing this as an opener in My family show for the last 6 months. Love it.

I respect John a bunch and he always does quality work but his instructions for putting this together could have been much better.

I too am a big fan of this effect. If any of you do Gospel magic don't miss the impact of the double restoration-Christ and man.

Thanks. Have fun with it. The drawing definitely adds to the comedy value of the presentation and secondarily reinforces that no silk switch is involved.
