I have a remote controlled electronic noise machine (similar to a fart machine) that is remotely activated with cricket chirps...at least you can make fun of the moment should it arise...but that's my style.

Haveing a good introduction helps establish your act before you are on.
As opposed to an entire audiance just working tables for a few people, and you have no introduction can be a drag when they just do not want to have you around, then you just move on. For a larger audiance you just have to establish the connection some way. |

Lol, I actually experimented with a joke involving juggling in my new show. I knew it was a longshot, either a big hit or a big flop. It was the latter. Quickly and easily removed from the script!
