I just bought 6 walking liberty halves and I thought that I could send them to somebody to make me a matching expanded shell or a dean set. Is it going to be cheaper if I do so or should I simply buy a shell that is already made?

Personally, I'd rather have it made from my own coins. That's my opinion. Some people do fine and well ordering one... but if all of your halves match and you want that look, have it made. If they're random years, buy one.
