Hi Guys,
Here is a card stab I have been working on. I would love to know your thoughts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BSRhxGlM04 |

Alex, I would think a routine handled like this would be better if the cards were sprung and the card stab done in mid air. Otherwise it appears to be just that you 'find" a freely selected, even signed card but use the knife instead of your hands.

I agree with Rizzo but if you do it as you do it, use at least a blindfold.
Use a wooden plate or something and not a book to stab in. Many people have an affection with books and find it horrible if you handle a book like that. |

Thanks for teh advice, I think it is a worthless book anyway. Yes a blindfold would have been better

Why do you want the book?

What an odd question.
For two reasons: A) I want to read it. B) I want to save it from being stabbed to death. You certainly don't HAVE to sell it, I was simply asking since you said that it was "worthless" to you. If you want to keep it, cool. Just grab a nice cutting board instead. Love, Ben

Yikes.
After much soul searching about a signature, I decided not to have one.

What a waist of a very good magic book. Sleightking I suppose you think that a magic book would only be worthwhile if it was published by Magic Makers or Penguin, Your handling of the card stabbing certainly displays that way of thinking. Your handling is horrid.

It would be nice to see interaction with spectators. Also there is no mystery there... It looks like you just knew where the card was. You should use a board, then spread all the cards and put the NEWSPAPER OVER THE CARDS so you can't see them.
