I Once saw Derren Brown use a toy monkey, as he stated to the audience he was about to 'Chuck his monkey all over the audience' made me chuckle!!! More on the serious side though, Andy Nyman has some wonderful ideas about getting someone up to help you, I think I saw it on his DVD's? Im sure someone will help me out with the correct Nyman technique I am referring to?

Sorry, couldn't resist! How about throwing darts into the audience? They would have to come on stage to get medical attention anyway. Its sure fire! Or you could use cuddly toys......... M |

Here's an example. One, of WHY you need to "randomly" choose. In this case it's a number. Before I use the paper ball process you can hear a gentlemen yell out, "What number do you need?" or something like that. Anyway here it is:

I don't quite "get" the video, John. But I agree that for magic squares, it's important to make your audience aware that the spectators are randomly chosen.
