Luminato has announced its "Masters of Magic Series" (Press Release)
As part of Luminato, The Toronto Festival of Arts + Creativity, Max Maven, Mac King, Bob Sheets and Juan Tamariz will be performing full shows for the public in Toronto from June 17-20. Tickets go on sale in 3 weeks. Details |

We looked into it, and the Masters of Magic shows aren't part of that pre-release. The first day to get tickets is still April 15. |

Actually, it turns out that there is a block of tickets available pre-sale. There are advance tickets available as of 10am this morning (Toronto time) for Max Maven (1 show), Mac King (2 shows) and Juan Tamariz (3 shows: English, French & Spanish).

Just announced for the festival as well are:
A screening of The Magical Life of Long Tack Sam - a film by Ann Marie Fleming about a great Vaudeville magician and acrobat and, A Public Forum discussing rights in the arts. Better yet Peter why don't we get that kind of quality talent in our area. We have a larger magician population than they do in Toronto. I would love to see Juan Tamariz in Philadelphia.
