Sponge balls, mismade bill, rope routines, single silk routines and the egg bag all get stellar reactions from school age kids.
If I'm performing short sets, or working out of a case, I may perform the Slydini Silks or Chop Cup. |

Bill Abbott's Close-Up for Kids (mentioned above) is excellent, highly recommended. Probably my favourite trick for kids 3+ is Ambitious Card. The plot is very easy to understand, and there are literally hundreds of moves and effects you can choose to incorporate. For the younger ones, you may prefer to use a deck of picture cards, or even blanks.
And sponge balls always plays very well, even though it's one of my pet hates! Potty |
