Maybe I´m a old fashion but I feel a little pain every time I see mentalism been revealed on YouTube or TV and unfortunately this happens more and more these days.

I live in the Netherlands and here the problem is so big most mentalist can better stop performing! At the moment we have the New Uri Geller Show again (Phenomenon) This show is broadcaster once a week for two months and performers are so bad it´s like revealing and if this is not bad enough next week a new show starts:

MENTALISM REVEALED!!!

Are they crazy? A mentalist offered a network to reveal all mentalism basics and more and the network thought this was a good idea for a program, so now every Friday we have the poor UG Show and every Sunday mentalists will be revealed!!!

The same network that bought this program also has two other programs (Char and Derek Ogilvie) where Char and Derek are talking to dead people but they keep saying that this is real and very different than mentalism!?!?! Yes different it is! Mentalists are entertainers, pretending to talk to dead people is a sick scam…

It's the fault of tv programmer or magicians pseudo"mentalist" ?
I think the answer is obvious.
People want to pass on tv and become famous among their friends...
In the next Uri geller season 2(German version) there were two young Swiss magicians ( 20 and 23 year old)
Of course they were not mentalist at all, just card close-up magicians.
Therefore, now they work in the country because they were on tv...
So, you can't go against the human nature, become "famous" and pass on the tv even if you don't have the shoulders at all.
