Here is what we are looking for;

SIDESHOW ACTS

LUCINDA THE FAT LADY
Age: 30+. Caucasian. This lady should be as HUGE as possible.

CONTORTIONISTS
All ages, Caucasian. Men and women.

TATTOOED MAN #1
Age 30+. Caucasian Man. Must have tattoos ALL OVER BODY and possibly on face.

TATTOOED MAN #2
Age 30+. Shaved head man. FULL BODY TATTOOS.

TALL MAN
Any Age, Caucasian. Must be 6'6 or taller.

STRONG MAN
Age 30+, Caucasian. Must have big muscles, but not like a meathead at the gym. They want defined, but not big necks.

SWORD SWALLOWER
Any age, male or female.

TINY MAN
Any age, must be under 4 feet tall and proportionate.

FIRE BREATHERS
Any age. Men and women.

CONTORTIONISTS
Any age. Men and women.

LONG NECKED WOMAN
Any age. MUST BE ETHNIC. We need those Thai or Cambodian women who have had the rings around their neck.

JUGGLERS
Any age. Men only.

MAN ON STILTS
Any age. Men only

ESCAPE ARTIST
Any age, Men only

CLOWNS
MUST BE REAL CIRCUS CLOWNS

Who casting?

I think this is for the movie version of the book, Water for Elephants. I know a few folks that have been submitting for that.

Got the part for Clown....Other Ringling Clowns and a Great Circus Smirkus Clown Too.

RC, Congrats on the gig. I hope it is a good shoot and pays well. Are they costuming the clowns in period costumes and make-up? I love that old style white clown look. Just look at one of the Kelty circus shots to see what I mean.

I am very lucky, I am working with 5 other clowns. Jon Weiss, Stephen Simon, Tom Weymouth, Chris Grabher, and Aaron Bloom. ( All talented performers.)
The Costumes and shoes are period.
They did their homework. We apply our own make up of course.
Old style make-up.
2 white face, 2 hobo/tramp, and 2 auguste.
Jack and Jeri Kalvan are jugglers on the movie too.
So far so good!! We did get to powder sock Jacob while he was going thru the clown section of the train.
Side show tents are amazing!!! We have not been on set while Rosie was on.
