Hey Guys,
On a new project that I am working on there will be some signage that says either "Woofle Dust" or "Wiffle Dust". I personally like Wiffle, but wondered what most magicians would prefer. I would appreciate some comments. It's kind of like taking the survey that is now on every receipt you ever get. Like I have time to call and tell the people at Cleaners R US how much I enjoyed the service. And was I greeted in a courteous manner. And did the person thank me by name when I signed the credit card....sorry, I guess I was ranting. Seriously, I would like some comments. Thanks Jef

Hi Jeff!
Woofle dust is a "common" name for magic dust used by magicians. Look it up or google it and you'll find it listed, along with a definition. Wiffle dust is a common slang name for cocain. It's also slang with the younger generation for some things you don't even want to know about. Therefore, my vote goes to: woofle dust. Jim |

I have had the words "woofle dust" on a snake can prop, which I use in my show, since back in the 1980s. So, I prefer that name.
I'm sure I picked that name up from another entertainer, or in a book, before then. - Donald

Woofle Dust is a generic term for "Fairey Dust". The true secret that children must never find out is the way we got Fairey Dust. Most people ,not even magicians, know that it came from cremating TinkerBell.

I've always believed "woofle dust" is the one and only correct term... The first time I ever saw "wiffle dust", I thought it was a typo.
