I think it would be nice to have a forum dedicated to helping others research their ideas and effects that are independently created, but might be already published.
I see a few people who ask for help with something, to find the original cretits, and/or writings of these effects. I remember a kid I knew, claimed he invented the card move 'The Tilt'. which in his own rights he DID come up with it, but not first. I think it might make a nice addition to the Café. Thanks for the idea, but not sure how this could be done without a lot of blatant exposure. However, I will give it some thought.

Good morning, Mr. Brooks:
If I may? One suggestion: You can create this forum, titled: (under The Banquet Room) 'The (or Our) Library'. And in order to avoid 'blatant exposure', members can expand via the PM function, or private e-mails. Sixten |

Steve may have thought "blatant exposure" but when I first read the question, the first thing that popped into my head was "blatant theft." If you have an original idea and reveal it here, don't be surprised if someone somewhere beats you to market with your own effect.
There are already two places to discuss or research history of an effect. "Everything Old is New Again" and "For the Record"
