There is not necessarily a need for psychics. I think to say so gives them too much credit. I'd say there is an addiction to psychics. Perhaps I'm nitpicking, but that's how I see it. That's why I find it difficult to just "live and let live" with psychics. I generally do "let live," but only because I have no better ideas.
