This looks really good. Is it worth the extra money for one of these compared to the other popular versions?

I own several colored canes bought from Seo they are the MahkaTendos canes and worth every penny.
Flawless and the opening mechinism is better then any other cane. actaully similar mechanism is on one of the german canes that are pretty pricey too but the color canes are sweet. you will be hapy to have it. sam ps Tell Daisuke Seo I told you to buy the cane!

Thanks Sam,
How loud is this cane compared to other metal appearing canes? Does it make a loud snap?

Well I will be honest with you I am not the right person to ask that as I am DEAF so to me there is no sound at all however I can tellyou that my assitant noticed a differnce with these canes to the ones I used before.
there is a clear smoothness to these canes that remove some of that SNAP sound sorry I could not answer more detailed:)

I do not have a Mahka Tendo multi-colored appearing cane, but I do have a black one. I love it! It is super-smooth. As far as the noise goes, yes there is some noise. I have not compared it side-by-side with other appearing canes, but I do not think there is any significent difference. Any metal appearing cane that I have ever seen makes some noise.
